April 22, 2026
Atlanta & West Point, Ga. (April 22, 2026) – Batson-Cook Construction held its 20th annual Clays for a Cause charity sporting clays tournament, raising $260,000 for two nonprofit organizations: Harmony House and Upson Regional Medical Center Foundation. The company is making a $30,000 commitment to trade schools and students, reinforcing its commitment to workforce development. Since its first inception, the event has raised more than $3 million dollars for various charitable organizations in our community. This event was held at Big Red Oak Plantation in Gay, Ga.
“We are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped us break our fundraising records this year,” said Randy Hall, president and CEO of Batson-Cook. “Reaching more than $3 million dollars is a tremendous milestone and a testament to the hard work of our employees, volunteers, and sponsors. It is truly rewarding to see people come together, enjoy this incredible event, and make a meaningful impact in our community through these deserving organizations.”
The Clays for a Cause event is planned annually by a dedicated committee comprised of Batson-Cook employees. This year, more than 80 employees from Batson-Cook’s Atlanta, Columbus, and West Point, Georgia offices volunteered to plan and execute the event. Batchelor & Kimball, Inc. and Spectra Contract Flooring were this year’s Legacy Sponsors.
