Baptist Medical Center J. Wayne and Delores Barr Weaver Tower
- A 12-story adult and pediatric hospital tower connecting to Wolfson Children’s Hospital and Baptist Medical Center in downtown Jacksonville.
- The 339,400-square-foot facility features a combination of pediatric and adult services, including ORs, hybrid ORs, imaging (MRI and CT), patient rooms, doctors’ offices, and treatment rooms.
- Active ORs and PACU areas in existing hospital were renovated.
- Scope of work included demolition of several buildings on the campus along with the partial removal, reconfiguration, and reinstallment of a pedestrian bridge.
- An AHCA certified project.
- Recipient, 2014 Project of the Year, Excellence in Construction Award presented by Florida First Coast Chapter, Associated Builders and Contractors.
- Recipient, 2014 Excellence in Construction Eagle Award (Healthcare Over $100 million category) presented by Florida First Coast Chapter, Associated Builders and Contractors.
