Columbus, Ga. (August 5, 2025) – Batson-Cook Construction is proud to announce a definitive agreement to acquire the assets of Flournoy Construction Group, LLC, which will be rebranded as Batson-Cook Flournoy Construction, LLC. This organization is a wholly owned subsidiary of Batson-Cook Company and will operate independently in Columbus, Ga.

The transaction and addition of Flournoy strengthens Batson-Cook’s position in the residential and multi-family construction markets by combining its own deep experience in the wood frame sector with Flournoy’s extensive portfolio of multi-family projects. “Our expertise and passion in wood frame construction, combined with Flournoy Construction Group’s impressive body of work, will be a great benefit to clients,” said Darin Appleton, Batson-Cook Construction’s Senior Vice President and General Manager, West Point, who will oversee operations of Batson-Cook Flournoy Construction, LLC. “We look forward to delivering a variety of projects for our customers throughout the southeast.”
